Steps to Access LiveSmart BC Grants and Improve Home Energy Efficiency:

Step 1

Read the Frequently Asked Questions to find out if you are eligible.

Step 2

Check out the Eligible Improvements for the LiveSmart BC: Efficiency Incentive Program.

Step 3

Before you start any renovations, contact us to perform an energy assessment of your home. The cost of this assessment is $150*.

Step 4

We will provide you with a report showing the best ways to reduce your energy use. We will also give your home an EnerGuide for Houses rating.

Step 5

Make energy efficiency improvements to your home and complete a second assessment by March 31, 2013. The cost of this assessment is $150*.

Step 6

We will submit your application giving you access to applicable LiveSmart BC incentives. Your home will also receive an upgraded EnerGuide for Houses rating.

*Tax not included. Other fees may apply. The initial home energy assessment costs $300, and for a limited time, the BC government is subsidizing the cost of the assessment by $150, so you pay only $150 plus tax.)
